Born and raised in Opelousas, Louisiana, Keon’s journey began in a small town where the odds were often stacked against him, but his talent, drive, and belief in himself set him apart.

Growing up in Opelousas, a community where opportunities were limited, Keon’s passion for sports became his escape and his pathway to something greater. Through countless hours of practice, perseverance, and overcoming obstacles, he earned his place as a standout athlete. His dedication paid off when he received a scholarship to play college football, a stepping stone that led him to the bright lights of the NFL.

From his roots in Opelousas to playing for top-tier college programs and ultimately achieving his dream of making it to the NFL, Keon’s story is one of determination, sacrifice, and relentless pursuit of excellence. Along the way, he’s stayed true to his values—always remembering where he came from and using his platform to give back to the community that supported him.

The Keon Coleman Family Foundation was established out of a deep sense of gratitude and a lifelong commitment to service. Its mission is to strengthen communities by empowering youth, providing resources, and creating opportunities for personal growth. Through mentorship, support programs, and positive role models, the foundation strives to inspire the next generation and help them become leaders in their communities.

Having personally benefited from the light of mentorship and support in his own life, Keon is passionate about providing the same opportunities for others. Keeping Bodies and Hearts Warm This Winter

Keon Coleman’s first annual Coat Giveaway is a heartfelt initiative dedicated to spreading warmth during the cold winter months. As part of his ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, this event provides brand-new winter coats to one hundred children from the Buffalo Boys & Girls Club who are in need, ensuring they have a warmer and more comfortable holiday season.

The goal is simple: to make sure no child has to face the winter chill without the essential protection of a warm coat. Through this initiative, Keon aims to provide not just physical warmth, but also a sense of community, kindness, and support. By extending a helping hand during one of the harshest seasons of the year, Keon’s Coat Giveaway is a reminder that small acts of service can create a lasting, positive impact on the lives of others.
